Polarity Therapy in Boston and Kennebunk, Maine

with Kieran Jordan, BCPP

Hi, I’m Kieran

I’m a dancer, movement teacher, and Board Certified Polarity Practitioner. I offer Polarity Therapy energy healing sessions to help you connect to your highest sense of self, health, and purpose.

News!

In addition to my home location in Boston, I am thrilled to be offering Polarity Therapy at Sacred Heart Center for Health and Healing in Kennebunk, Maine — a place where I have received so much healing myself. Appointments are available on Wednesdays or Thursdays and occasional Fridays. Please contact me to schedule your session in Maine.

What Is Polarity Therapy?

Polarity Therapy is a method of clearing and balancing life energy in order to promote health and healing. It is a “whole person” therapy that welcomes an individual on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Polarity can assist in unwinding trauma patterns, regulating the nervous system, and restoring a person’s vitality, or life force.

The founder of Polarity, Dr. Randolph Stone, was an osteopath, naturopath, and chiropractor. He also studied yoga and meditation, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, so Polarity is a unique synthesis of Eastern and Western philosophies.

As a form of complementary medicine, Polarity can provide powerful support during illness. Through talk and touch, food awareness and movement, it offers a safe, gentle, and compassionate space for coping with physical symptoms, and also for processing the life disruptions and losses that often accompany being sick.

Polarity is not physical therapy or massage — it works with the body’s “prana” or subtle energy — balancing the positive and negative charges or “poles” in the human electromagnetic field.

About My Sessions

My Polarity sessions include:

  • therapeutic dialogue
  • bodywork — with deep or light touch, rocking, stretching, and stillness
  • guided meditation
  • energy clearing and balancing
  • nutrition and exercise, from the Polarity perspective

This work takes place with the client fully-clothed, in a peaceful and supportive environment. Each session is unique and is guided by intuition and the client’s individual needs.

About My Clients

Often we find Polarity when something is out of balance in our lives. I have worked with clients dealing with: anxiety and depression, cancer, dementia, Lyme Disease and other tick-borne illnesses, musculoskeletal issues, sleep and hormone issues, grief and loss, life and work transitions, and more.

My ideal client is anyone who is curious about themselves and open to the possibility of discovering greater resilience, clarity, embodiment, and ease.

About Me

My work with energy, bodies, and self-expression is informed by my lifetime in dance — with more than 20 years of professional experience in performance, teaching, choreography, and musical collaboration.

I have chosen to practice Polarity because I’ve experienced powerful growth and transformation in myself through this work, as a client of practitioner Beth Adler-Duthé for many years.

In my early 20s, my own physical and emotional challenges led me on a path towards holistic healing. I started exploring yoga and meditation, herbal medicine, and many forms of mind-body movement. All of these have nurtured me personally, and have enriched my work as a teacher and creative artist.

In 2017, I became severely sick with what turned out to be late-diagnosis Lyme Disease and other tick-borne infections. Through this life-changing illness, I found energy healing modalities (like Reiki, sound healing, and Polarity) to be deeply supportive, in conjunction with treatment through naturopathic medicine.

Eventually I decided to seek out professional training in Polarity Therapy — with Brian Jansen at the Polarity Therapy Institute in San Francisco. I completed my training in 2024 and am a Board Certified Polarity Practitioner through APTA (the American Polarity Therapy Association).

Testimonials

My clients report that Polarity brings them improvements in energy, confidence, motivation, self-knowledge, and self-acceptance. Many also experience a calming of physical pain and inflammatory symptoms, deep relaxation, and better sleep.

“Health is not merely of the body. It is the natural expression of the body, mind and soul when they are in rhythm with the One Life. True health is the harmony of life within us, consisting of peace of mind, happiness and well-being. It is not merely a question of physical fitness, but is rather a result of the soul finding free expression through the mind and body of that individual.”

— Dr. Randolph Stone, D.O., N.D., D.C., founder of Polarity Therapy
